1. Drain the oil from the steering system.

2. Disconnect harness (1).

3. Remove nut (2), washer (3), coil assembly (4), and washer (5).

4. Remove cartridge assembly (7). Remove O-rings (6) and (8) from cartridge assembly (7).

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the accumulator bleed valve.

5. Install O-rings (6) and (8) on cartridge assembly (7). Install cartridge assembly (7) and tighten it to a torque of 24.0 ± 2.7 N·m (17.7 ± 2.0 lb ft).

6. Install washer (5), coil assembly (4), washer (3), and nut (2). Tighten nut (2) to a torque of 14 ± 2 N·m (10 ± 1.5 lb ft).

7. Connect harness (1).

8. Fill the steering system hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual.
