Starter Control Valve

Usage:

Remove & Install Starter Control Valve

1. Release the air pressure in the system.


Typical Example

------ WARNING! ------

To prevent possible personal injury, make sure the pressure in the air system is zero before any air lines are disconnected.

--------WARNING!------

2. Disconnect hoses (1) and (2) from the starter control valve.

3. Disconnect wire harness (4).

4. Remove the bolts that hold starter control valve (3) in place, and remove the valve.

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the starter control valve.

5. Put starter control valve (3) in position, and install the two bolts that hold it in place.

6. Connect wire harness (4).

NOTE: Hose (1) is from the No. 2 port on the cab. Hose (2) is from the air starter.

7. Connect hoses (1) and (2) to the air control valve.
