Fuel Tank

Usage:

Remove & Install Fuel Tank


Typical Example

1. Turn the fuel supply valve to the off position.

2. Mark for identification and disconnect the hose assemblies from fittings (1) and (2).

3. Remove two bolts (3), four mountings (4), the nuts and the washers from the fuel tank mounting.

4. Fasten a hoist to the fuel tank lifting eyes (7).

5. Remove the bolts and cap (6) from each side of fuel tank (5). Remove the fuel tank from the machine. The weight of an empty fuel tank is approximately 1110 kg (2440 lb).

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the fuel tank.

6. Fasten a hoist to the fuel tank. Put fuel tank (5) in position on the machine, and install caps (6) and the bolts that hold them on each side of the fuel tank.

7. Put two mountings (4) in position on both sides of the bracket, and install bolts (3) the nuts and the washers.

8. Connect the hose assemblies to fittings (1) and (2).

9. Turn the fuel supply on.
