Description of Change: A new cover, seal, and bolts are now used on the above engines. The new cover and seal are more resistant to oil leakage. The new cover assembly includes an O-ring groove in the cover and an O-ring that will provide a better leak free joint between the block and cover.

Adaptable To: The new 2S-9750 Cover and the new 5P-4268 Seal are a direct replacement for the former 2P-2772 Cover and 4N-0933 Gasket that is located on the left-hand, forward side of the engine block. This new cover and assembly also requires two new 0S-1594 Bolts which replace the former 1A-2029 Bolts. The former 5M-2894 Washers can be reused. These changes are in 6I-2956, 4N-6866, and 4N-1960 Cover Groups (Central).
