Usage:
3600 Family Of Engines
Description of Change: A new air cleaner and silencer group is available. This new group provides increased noise attenuation and increased resistance to vibration damage. The polyester filter material in the new group is water washable. New instrument lines groups (air cleaner restriction) are required with the new air cleaner and silencer group.
Adaptable To: The new 117-9529 Air Cleaner And Silencer Group is a replacement for the 1W-5198 Air Cleaner And Silencer Group. See Illustration 1 and Chart A to identify the components in the new 117-9529 Air Cleaner And Silencer Group. If the new air cleaner and silencer group is installed on a 3606 or 3608 engine, the new 128-1002 Instrument Lines Group must be used to replace the 2W-8896 Instrument Lines Group. See Illustration 2 and Chart B to identify the components in the 128-1002 Instrument Lines Group. If the new air cleaner and silencer group is installed on a 3612 or 3616 engine, the new 127-3319 Instrument Lines Group must be used to replace the 2W-2795 Instrument Lines Group. See Illustrations 3 and Chart C to identify the components in the 127-3319 Instrument Lines Group.
