Description of Change: A self draining precleaner cup assembly is available and rain shields are available for the 7C-7722 and 7C-7723 Air Cleaner Group attachments.

The self draining precleaner cup assembly will be very useful in applications where a lot of moisture accumulates in the precleaner. A rubber valve is located at the bottom of the precleaner cup assembly. When the engine is running, the air pressure inside the precleaner is lower than outside the precleaner. This pressure differential keeps the valve closed. When the weight of the water collected in the cup assembly becomes great enough, the weight overcomes the pressure differential, and the water flows out of the valve.

Shields are available for the left side, right side, front and bottom of the precleaner assembly. These shields help protect the precleaner assembly from rain.

Adaptable To: The 2W-9069 Precleaner Cup Assembly can be used as a direct replacement for the 5N-7835 Precleaner Cup Assembly. Four 2W-9069 Precleaner Cup Assemblies are required for the 7C-7722 Air Cleaner Group. Three 2W-9069 Precleaner Cup Assemblies are required for the 7C-7723 Air Cleaner Group.

The 7E-4622 Left Hand Side Shield, the 7E-4623 Right Hand Side Shield, the 7E-4624 Front Shield, and the 7E-4625 Bottom Shield are available for installation on the 7C-7722 and 7C-7723 Air Cleaner Groups.

Each air cleaner group requires one 7E-4622 Left Hand Side Shield and one 7E-4623 Right Hand Side Shield. The 7C-7722 Air Cleaner Group requires four 7E-4624 Front Shields and four 7E-4625 Bottom Shields. The 7C-7723 Air Cleaner Group requires three 7E-4624 Front Shields and three 7E-4625 Bottom Shields.
