In the Description Of Change section, the last sentence of the first paragraph is not correct. The correct last sentence of the first paragraph follows:

The gauge assembly has also been changed to include a Pyrex® tube to provide extended service life.

Also, in the Chart, the Part Number for Item 2, the Tube Assembly, is not correct. The correct Part Number for Item 2 is 140-6683.

Description of Change: The liquid level gauge assembly is now available for parts service. This gauge indicates the level of the coolant in the expansion tank. The gauge assembly has also been changed to include a plastic tube to extend the life of the existing glass tube.

NOTE: When replacing the tube assembly (2), it is important to hand tighten the nuts (A), to prevent the tube from cracking or breaking.

Adaptable To: The new 2W-5790 Liquid level gauge assembly is available for all 3600 Family Engines. The serviced parts are identified in the following illustration and chart.
