Description of Change: The recommended torque value for the connector used on all fuel injection lines groups within the 3600 Industrial Engines has been increased. This improvement prevents the connector from becoming loose during tube assembly removal.
Adaptable To: The torque value for the 7W-5989 Connector used on all fuel injection lines groups for the above engines has been increased to its new value of 105 ± 10 N·m (77 ± 7 lb ft) from its former value of 75 ± 7 N·m (55 ± 5 lb ft).
NOTE: The torque value of 45 ± 4 N·m (33 ± 3 lb ft) used for the 6V-8554 Nut on the 7W-1947 Tube Assembly is unchanged.
