New Air Shut-Off Groups Used{1078}

Description of Change: New air shut-off groups are used on these engines. The new groups include new dampers and new trip cylinders.

Adaptable To: The new 119-1859 (8 inch) and 119-1858 (11 inch) Air Shut-Off Groups are direct replacements for the former 6I-4958 and 6I-4959 Air Shut-Off Groups respectively. The former air shut-off groups are canceled. The new air shut-off groups are in effect as listed above. The illustrations and chart identify the serviceable components of the new air shut-off groups.

The new 118-7310 (8 inch) and 121-4888 (11 inch) Cylinder Assemblies [part of the 119-1859 (8 inch) and 119-1858 (11 inch) Air Shut-Off Groups respectively] are direct replacements for the former 7C-9317 and 7C-4796 Cylinder Assemblies respectively. The former cylinder assemblies are canceled.
