- Remove the fuel transfer pump.

Do not open the high pressure fuel system without allowing the fuel system to purge. After the engine has shut down, allow the fuel system to purge for ten minutes. This operating fuel system contains high pressure. Exposure to high pressure fuel can result in personal injury. |
Note: Use Tooling (A) to cap tube assemblies, fittings, ports, and any openings on the fuel system to prevent contamination.
- Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2), tube assemblies (3) and (5), and harness assembly (4).

- Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to high-pressure fuel pump (10). The weight of high-pressure fuel pump (10) is approximately
120 kg (265 lb) .Note: The lifting device should not come into contact with the fuel shutoff valve to prevent damage to the component.
- WARNING! Magnetic lift is prohibited for the C175 HP fuel pump.
Remove high-pressure fuel pump (10).

Note: Carefully remove Tooling (A) to prevent contamination.
- Install high-pressure fuel pump (10) in the reverse order of removal with new bolts (8) and (11).
