Alternator - Remove and Install
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

- Remove alternator belt (1).
- Remove bolt (2).
- Remove nut (5), the washers, and bolt (6).
- Remove alternator (4).
- Position alternator (4).
- Install bolt (6), the washers, and nut (5).
- Install bolt (2).
- Install alternator belt (1).
- Adjust belt tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Alternator Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace" for the correct adjusting procedure.
- Connect harness assemblies (3).
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
