Fuse Installation Procedure for Product Link PL631 on Certain 950 GC Medium Wheel Loaders {1417, 7606} Caterpillar

950 GC (S/N: M5K2128-UP; M5T983-UP)

The instruction "Dealer Product Link Check Steps" for 950 GC S/N:M5K and 950 GC S/N:M5T are located behind the seat in cab on the machines listed above. Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.

Refer to Section "Installation Procedure" for the procedure to install the fuse in the fuse block.

Installation Procedure

Do not operate or work on this product unless you have read and understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. PL631 on 950 GC S/N:M5K

1. Turn OFF the machine.

   Location of black bag containing fuse (1) 113-8490 Fuse

2. Find the 10 amp fuse (1) covered by a transparent plastic bag in the black bag located behind the seat. Refer to Illustration 3.

3. Remove the fuse block cover located on the rear left side of the seat. Refer to Illustration 4.

4. Install the 10 amp fuse into location F31 on the fuse block as shown in Illustration 5.

5. Turn ON the key and run a Product Link dealer installation verification test.

6. Install the cover after the verification.

PL631 on 950 GC S/N:M5T

1. Turn OFF the machine.

2. Find the 10 amp fuse (1) covered by a transparent plastic bag in the black bag located behind the seat. Refer to Illustration 6.

3. Remove the fuse block cover located on the rear left side of the seat. Refer to Illustration 7.

4. Install the 10 amp fuse into location F38 on the fuse block as shown in Illustration 8.

5. Turn ON the key and run a Product Link dealer installation verification test.

6. Install the cover after the verification.
