Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat^® products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (28). The approximate weight of turbocharger (28) is 270 kg (595 lb).
Install turbocharger (28).
Install bolts (27).
Repeat Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3 for the opposite side.

Apply tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (26).
Tighten bolts (26) to a torque of 180 ± 40 N·m (133 ± 30 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (26) to a torque of 240 ± 40 N·m (177 ± 30 lb ft).

Apply tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (22) and bolts (23).
Tighten bolts (22) and bolts (23) to a torque of 75 ± 20 N·m (55 ± 15 lb ft).
Retighten bolts (22) and bolts (23) to a torque of 100 ± 20 N·m (74 ± 15 lb ft).
Connect line (24) and line (25).

Install shield (21).
Install bolts (20).
