Start By:
- Remove the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove".

- Remove bolts (7) and gear (6). Remove O-ring seal (5) .

- Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the shaft of the auxiliary water pump. The weight of the auxiliary water pump is approximately 75 kg (165 lb).
- Place the auxiliary water pump onto a bench. Mark housings (1), (2), and (3) for the correct orientation upon assembly.
- Remove bolts (4) .
- Separate housings (2) and (3) from housing (1) .

- Remove O-ring seal (16) .
- Remove bolt (14) and washer (15) .
- Use Tooling (C) to remove impeller (8) .
- Remove the spring from seal group (9) .
- Separate housing (2) and housing (3) .
- Remove O-ring seal (10) .
- Remove bolts (19) and thrust washer (18) .
- Remove shaft (17) .
- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to remove seal group (9) from housing (2) .
- Use a brass bar and a hammer to remove seal (11) from housing (3) .
- Remove bearings (12) and bearings (13) from housing (3) .
