Governor Drive - Disassemble - Earlier
Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the governor drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Governor Drive - Remove".

- Remove coupling (1) from pinion (3) .
Note: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "General Information (Reference Material)" for more information.

- Remove the bolts and thrust washer (2). The bolts and thrust washer (2) hold pinion (3) in place in housing (4) .
- Remove pinion (3) from housing (4) .
- If removal is necessary, remove the bearing from housing (4) .
