Note: Use 8T-0447 Dial Calipers to measure the dimensions in the following procedure.
- If the bearing was removed from housing (4), Use Tooling (A) and install the bearing in the housing. The inside diameter of the bearing must be 24.993 ± 0.033 mm (0.9840 ± 0.0013 inch).

- Place pinion (3) in position in housing (4). Install thrust washer (2) and the bolts that hold the thrust washer in place.
- Place coupling (1) in position on pinion (3) .
End By: Install the governor drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Governor Drive - Install".
