Fuel Priming Pump - Disassemble

Usage:

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the fuel priming pump and primary filter (water separator).

  1. Remove plug (1) and the O-ring seal.

  2. Remove adapter (2) and the O-ring seal.

  3. Remove adapter (3) and the O-ring seal. Remove screw (4).

  4. Remove plugs (5) and the O-ring seals.

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  5. Remove plug (6), O-ring seal (8), spring (9), check valve (10), and O-ring seal (7). Repeat for the other plug.

  6. Remove bolts (11) and cap (12). Remove the O-ring seal from cap (12).

  7. Remove nuts (13) and harness assemblies (14). Remove the O-ring seals from harness assemblies (14).

  8. Remove pump assembly (17) from the housing assembly.

  9. Remove seal (15), back up ring (18), seal (16), and backup ring (19) from pump assembly (17).
