Problem

Some of the machines listed above may be equipped with a faulty retaining ring in the high-speed transfer drive. Retaining ring (1) secures gear (2) in the housing. If the ring fails, the gear can come loose and be damaged during operation.

The supplier for the faulty retaining rings, made the locking tabs too large. Refer to illustration 2 to identify the differences.

Solution

If a failure occurs, rebuild the transfer drive using the same part numbers. All the faulty retaining rings have been removed from the supply chain and production.
