Reference: Special Instruction, M0074528, "Hood Durability Improvements on Certain 980K, 980M, and 982M Medium Wheel Loaders"
New special instruction provides information to add stabilizing brackets to support the main hood structure. The addition of stabilizer bracket provides more robust structure to the hood and better withstand loads.
