Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the power train guard.
- Park the machine on a flat, level surface. Lower the bucket to the ground. Chock the wheels in order to prevent the machine from rolling when the drive shaft is removed.
- Support rear drive shaft (2). Remove bolts (3) and straps (4) from each end of rear drive shaft (2) .

- Slide yoke (1) toward the rear axle assembly. Slide yoke (1) so that enough clearance is provided for the removal of rear drive shaft (2) .
- Carefully remove rear drive shaft (2) .
Installation Procedure
- Install rear drive shaft (2) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 150 ± 15 N·m (110 ± 11 lb ft)
