Description of Change: A new spool is now installed in the valve body of the grapple control valve. Installation of the new spool increases the speed of tong open and close cycle times.

Adaptable To: The new spool is only used in machines equipped with the following valves:

• 381-7956 Bank Valve Gp (Four bank valve)

• 381-7957 Bank Valve (Four bank valve)

• 381-7958 Bank Valve (Five bank valve)

Note: 381-7958 Bank Valve is also known as a grapple control valve.

This change is adaptable to the following machines:

• (S/N: 545C954-1135)

• (S/N: 525C1860-UP)

• (S/N: 535C701-UP)
