  • There has been some confusion in the field about which type of cleaning agent to use in the 212-1503 Parts Washer Kit. Use only cleaning agents that are water based in the parts washer kit. The use of cleaning agents that are petroleum based can damage some components of the parts washer kit. For cold climate applications, antifreeze for water systems in recreational vehicles can be used with some of the cleaning agents that are water based.

ReferenceRefer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS0849, "Procedures for Using the 212-1503 Portable Parts Washer" for more information on the tool.
