Note: Illustrations 1 and 2 show a machine with the secondary steering system installed. Machines without the secondary steering system will not have secondary steering pump (3) , secondary steering diverter valve (8) , primary steering flow switch (18), secondary steering flow switch (7) and secondary steering relief valve (9) .

The steering hydraulic system is made up of two basic circuits, the pilot circuit and high pressure circuit. The high pressure circuit also incorporates the secondary steering system.

The main components of the pilot circuit are hydraulic tank (24), brake and pilot pump (19), pilot oil pressure reducing valve (25), pilot oil filters (26), left and right neutralizer valves (11) and (12), steering control valve (4), and various lines.

The main components of the high pressure circuit are hydraulic tank (24), steering pump (17), steering control valve (4), steering cylinders (1), steering oil filters (14), and various lines.

(13) Hydraulic tank breather

(24) Hydraulic tank

(29) Filler cap

Hydraulic tank (24) is located on the right side of the machine. Hydraulic tank (24) is the oil reservoir for the hoist hydraulic system, the steering system, the braking system, and the brake cooling system. Steering oil filters (14) are mounted to the front of hydraulic tank (24). Oil is placed into hydraulic tank (24) through filler cap (29). Hydraulic tank breather (13) is mounted to the top of hydraulic tank (24).
