Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Remove".
2. Remove the inlet manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Inlet Manifold - Remove".

1. Disconnect hose (1) and hose assembly (2) .

2. Remove bolts (3) .

3. Remove exhaust manifold (4) and the gaskets.

Installation Procedure

1. Inspect the condition of the gaskets. Replace the gaskets, if necessary.

2. Position the gaskets and exhaust manifold (4) on the cylinder head.

3. Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (3). Install bolts (3) and tighten in a numerical sequence.

4. Connect hose assembly (2) and hose (1) .

End By:

1. Install the inlet manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Inlet Manifold - Install".
2. Install the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Install".
