The compressor housing must remain straight with the turbocharger cartridge during disassembly and assembly. Tilting may cause damage to the tips of the compressor wheel and the compressor shaft. |
- Place an alignment mark on new turbocharger cartridge (4) in the same location as the old turbocharger cartridge.

Note: Check the condition of the components. Use new components to replace worn components or damaged components.
- Align the marks and install compressor housing (1) on turbocharger cartridge (4). Install bolts (2) .
- Align the marks and install turbine housing (3) on turbocharger cartridge (4). Install bolts (5) .
End By: Install the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Install".
