Hose Clamp, 8T-4983, Located Inside The Right Side Panel In The Cab, May Need To Be Tightened To An Increased Torque
Usage:
TRACK-TYPE TRACTORD8R SERIES II (6YZ331-602) TRACK-TYPE TRACTOR
Problem:
The 8T-4983 Hose Clamp, part of the 157-7325 Lines Group, may have low torque on the D8R Series II (6YZ331-602) machines. This may allow hose assembly 5P-2094 to come loose resulting in loss of hydraulic fluid.
Solution:
- 1.) Remove the seat group from the machine.
- 2.) Remove the right side panel that is located inside the cab.
- 3.) Locate the two 8T-4983 hose clamps (see illustration) and tighten the clamps to a torque of 11.5 N·m (8.5 lb ft).
- 4.) Replace the right side panel in the cab and replace the seat group.
