D11R Implement Joysticks Are Sticking
Usage:
TRACK-TYPE TRACTORSD11R (4HK, 7PZ, 8ZR, 9TR, 9XR, AAF) TRACK-TYPE TRACTORS
Problem:
The 167-3848 Joystick Controls that are installed on D11R Track-Type Tractors may become difficult to operate. There is a possibility that an insufficient amount of lubrication was applied to these joysticks at the time of assembly.
Solution:
To correct this problem, perform the following steps:
- 1. Remove the rubber boot that surrounds the joystick.
- 2. Apply a generous amount of 129-1968 White Assembly Grease to the ball and socket portion of the joystick.
- 3. After the grease has been applied, move the joystick in all directions so that the grease is evenly worked into the socket.
- 4. Reinstall the boot around the joystick.
- 5. Ensure that the machine functions properly.
