Axle Oil Cooler Fan Motor Seal Failures
Usage:
WHEEL LOADERS988G (2TW) WHEEL LOADERS
Problem:
The seal on the shaft of the fan motor for the axle oil cooler can fail if the axle oil cooler is not enabled in the implement ECM. If the axle oil cooler is not enabled in the implement ECM, the fan motor will run continuously. High pressure cold oil can force the seal off the shaft resulting in oil leakage.
Solution:
The implement ECM should be reconfigured to enable the axle oil cooler. Software changes to prevent this failure are under investigation.
