Problem:
Some 1T-1235 Freewheel Cams, that have undersize bores, may have been shipped to the parts system. The undersize bore will prevent the cage and rollers from being assembled or reduce the roller cam clearance to prevent proper freewheel operation. This could cause premature failure of the cage.
The 1T-1235 Freewheel Cam is used in the following torque converter groups:

The correct bore size (A) should be 138.075 ± 0.013 mm (5.4360 ± 0.0005 inch). If you have difficulty with the assembly of a converter with 1T-1235 Cam, please notify Service Engineer Dave Smith (Phone: 309-494-0923, EMAIL: smithdd@cat.com) in order to arrange the return of these parts.
