Steering Clutch Control Valve

Usage:

Remove Steering Clutch Control Valve

start by:

a) remove fuel tank

1. Disconnect hoses (1) and (2) from the steering clutch control valve.

2. Disconnect the tube assemblies (3) from the valve.

3. Loosen two bolts (5) and remove the steering clutch control valve (4).

Install Steering Clutch Control Valve

1. Put the steering clutch control valve (1) in position and tighten the bolts that hold it.

2. Connect the two hoses (2) to the valve.

3. Connect the tube assemblies (3).

end by:

a) install fuel tank

Disassemble Steering Clutch Control Valve

start by:

a) remove steering clutch control valve

1. Remove the elbow (1) and the O-ring seal from the valve.

2. Remove the tee fittings (2) on each side of the valve and O-ring seals.

3. Remove the bolts (3).

4. Remove the bolts (4) and remove the covers (5) from the valve.

5. Remove the lip seals (7) and the O-ring seals from the covers.

6. Remove the stems (6), springs and spacers.

7. Remove the plug and O-ring seal (8) and the plug.

8. Remove the fitting (9) and O-ring seal.

9. Remove the bolts (11) and remove covers (12), O-ring seals, springs, valve spools and rings.

10. Remove the fitting (10) and O-ring seal.

Assemble Steering Clutch Control Valve

1. Install plug (1) in valve.

2. Install fitting and O-ring seal (2).

3. Install O-ring seals (4), valve spools and rings (5), spacers (3), springs (6) and covers.

4. Install fittings and O-ring seals (7) and (8).

5. Install the O-ring seals (9), springs (11) and stems (10).

6. Install the lip seal in the cover (13) (lip toward the outside of the cover).

7. Install the O-ring seals (12) in the covers and install the covers on the valve.

8. Put the two bolts that hold the valve to the bevel gear case cover in position. Install the tee fittings and O-ring seals (14) in each side of the valve.

9. Install the elbow fitting on top of the valve.
