Usage:

Remove Track Roller Frames

start by:

a) separation of tracks

b) remove crankcase guards (front section)

1. Put tooling (A) in position under the rear of the machine. Lift the rear of the machine to a height of approximately 23 inches (58.4 cm).

2. Put tooling (B) in position under rear of machine. Put the weight of the machine on tooling (B). Remove tooling (A).

3. Put tooling (A) in position under the front of the machine. Lift the front of the machine to a height of approximately 30 inches (76.2 cm).

4. Put tooling (C) in position under the equalizer spring. Put the weight of the machine on tooling (C). Remove tooling (A).

5. Remove the guards (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) from the track roller frame.

6. Install tool (D) on the roller frame as shown. Fasten a hoist to tool (D) and the roller frame.

7. Remove four bolts (6) from the support assembly.

8. Remove the bolt (8), nut (9) and sleeve (7) from over the equalizer spring.

9. Remove the four bolts (10) from the support assembly.

10. Remove the track roller frame (11). The weight of the track roller frame is 1525 lb. (686 kg).

11. Remove the bearing cap (13) from the top of the sprocket shaft. Remove the bearing (12) from the cap. Remove the bearing (14) from the rear brace assembly of the track roller frame.

Install Track Roller Frames

1. Put 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound on both bearings. Install bearing (3) in bearing cap (2). Put the bearing cap assembly in position on top of the sprocket shaft. Install bearing (1) in the rear brace assembly of the track roller frame.

2. Install tool (D) on the track roller frame. Fasten a hoist to tool (D) and the track roller frame. Put the track roller frame (4) in position on the machine. Put 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound on the bolts and install the bolts that hold the track roller frame to the support assembly. Install the bolts that hold the rear brace assembly of the roller frame to the sprocket shaft and tighten to a torque of 195 ± 18 lb.ft. (265 ± 24 N·m).

3. Put the sleeve (5) in position over the equalizer spring and install the bolt and nut that hold it.

4. Remove the hoist and tool (D) from the track roller frame.

5. Install the five guards (6) on the track roller frame.

6. Put tooling (A) in position under the front of the machine. Lift the machine and remove tooling (C) from under the equalizer spring. Lower the front of the machine to the floor with tooling (A). Remove tooling (A).

7. Put tooling (A) in position under the rear of the machine. Lift the machine and remove tooling (B). Lower the rear of the machine to the floor with tooling (A). Remove tooling (A).
