E096 High Fuel Pressure

Usage:

C18 CYN
Conditions Which Generate This Code:

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects all of the following conditions:

  • The warning for high fuel pressure has been enabled.

  • The engine has been running at least 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, the ECM detects a high fuel pressure.

  • The fuel pressure is equal to 759 kPa (110 psi) for a time period of two seconds or the fuel pressure is above 759 kPa (110 psi) for a time period of two seconds.

System Response:

The ECM will log the warning. The ECM will activate the warning for high fuel pressure. The warning lamp will come on and the warning will be transmitted to the display. If the fuel pressure falls below 709 kPa (103 psi) for five seconds, the ECM will reset the warning.

None
