The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects all of the following conditions:

• The warning for low fuel pressure has been enabled.

• The engine has been running at least 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, the ECM detects a low fuel pressure.

• The fuel pressure is equal to 350 kPa (51 psi) for a time period of two seconds or the fuel pressure is below 350 kPa (51 psi) for a time period of two seconds.

System Response:

The ECM will log the warning. The ECM will activate the warning for low fuel pressure. The warning lamp will come on and the warning will be transmitted to the display. If the fuel pressure rises above 400 kPa (58 psi) for four seconds, the ECM will reset the warning.

The engine may run rough.

There is a problem with the fuel system.

Results:

• OK - There is a problem with the fuel system.

  Repair: Monitor the operation of the engine.Repair the problem.

  Stop.
