The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:

• The ECM detects an engine overspeed for 0.6 seconds.

• The default overspeed setpoint is 2200 rpm.

• The feature is not enabled.

• The ECM detects an engine overspeed.

• The default overspeed setpoint is 2300 rpm.

System Response:

361-1

The ECM will trigger a snapshot. The event code is logged.

• The hysteresis is 200 rpm for 0.6 seconds. If engine speed is reduced by 200 rpm below the 2200 rpm setpoint, the event will deactivate.

361-2

This code is not applicable.

361-3

The ECM will trigger a snapshot. The event code is logged. The check engine lamp will illuminate while this event code is active. The ECM will stop sending signals to the injector solenoids.

The engine will shut down.

The operator may be operating the machine incorrectly.
