Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install pistons (19) and pushrod assemblies (22).
- Install springs (17) and (18).
- Install washers (21) and retaining rings (20). Use Tooling (A) to install retaining rings (20).
- Install autolash assemblies (16) and tighten nuts (15).
Note: Step 5 through Step 7 must be performed at two locations.

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.
To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
- Install pistons (14) and pushrod assemblies (9). Install springs (13).
- Install spring retainers (12) and retainers (11).
- Use Tooling (A) to install retaining rings (10).
Note: Step 8 through Step 10 must be preformed at two locations.

- Install springs (5) and (6).
- Install covers (8) and screws (7).
