Diverter Valve (Coolant) - Disassemble
Start By:
- Remove the diverter valve. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "Diverter Valve - Remove".
- Remove locking nut (1) and coil assembly (8).
- Remove valve cartridge (9). Remove the O-ring seal from the valve cartridge.
- Remove plugs (12). Remove the O-ring seals.
- Carefully remove bolts (2) and cover (3).
- Remove diaphragm (6) from body (11). Remove O-ring seal (10) from the diaphragm.
- Remove spring (7) and inserts (4). Remove O-ring seals (5) from the inserts.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |
