Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.
Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Note: Install all fittings in the same location and in the same orientation that was marked during the disassembly procedure.

- Install O-ring seal (47) on plug (46). Install spring (48) and valve (49) in plug (46) .

- Install plug (46) in control valve (33). Tighten plug (46) to a torque of 200 ± 25 N·m (148 ± 18 lb ft).

- Install plug (43) in control valve (33) .

- Install backup ring (42) on plug (39). Install O-ring seals (41) .

- Install plug (39) on the other side of the control valve. Tighten plug (39) to a torque of 95 ± 14 N·m (70 ± 10 lb ft).
- Install cover (40) .

- Install spring (36) on stem (35) with retainers (38) and bolt (37). Tighten bolt (37) to a torque of 50 + 10 - 0 N·m (37 + 7 - 0 lb ft).

Relief valve (22) |
- Install backup rings (28) and (31) on relief valve (22). Install O-ring seals (32), (30), (29), (27), and (26) .

- Install O-ring seals (25) and three backup rings (24) on flow control valve (23) .

- Install flow control valve (23). Tighten flow control valve (23) to a torque of 208 ± 8 N·m (153 ± 6 lb ft).
- Install relief valve (22). Tighten relief valve (22) to a torque of 95 ± 14 N·m (70 ± 10 lb ft).

Relief valve (4) |
- Install O-ring seals (10) and (8) on valve body (12) .
- Install valve (13) in the valve body.
- Install spring (9) in valve (13) .
- Install O-ring seal (7) on the plug. Install thick shim (11A) against the end of spring (9). Install shims (11) and plug (6) in valve body (12). Tighten plug (6) to a torque of 145 ± 15 N·m (107 ± 11 lb ft).

- Install relief valve (4). Tighten relief valve (4) to a torque of 145 ± 15 N·m (107 ± 11 lb ft).
- Install fitting (5). Install rectangular seals (3) and O-ring seals (2) in cover (1) .
Note: Cover (1) was removed during the removal procedure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Auxilary) - Remove".
End By:
Install the control valve (auxiliary) on the main control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Auxiliary) - Install".
