Installation Procedure

1. Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the mounting studs for the turbocharger.

2. Position the turbocharger gasket and turbocharger (10) on the exhaust manifold. Install nuts (9) and tighten nuts (9) to a torque of 54 ± 5 N·m (40 ± 4 lb ft).

3. Install the hose and tighten hose clamp (8) .

4. Put tube (7) in position on the turbocharger and install two bolts (6) .

5. Install the tube and tighten fitting (5) .

6. Lubricate O-ring seal (4) with 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound .

7. Install elbow (3) and O-ring seal (4) on the turbocharger.

8. Position the retaining plates and install two bolts (2) .

9. Install the hose and tighten hose clamp (1) .

End By: Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
