喷油器的拆卸
- 拆下缸盖每端的放油塞 (1) 。

- 拆卸喷油器之前，让发动机机油从缸盖孔中排出。
- 断开线束接头 (2) 。
- 拆下螺栓 (3) 。

注: 这些发动机中有些未配备导流器。 单体喷油器安装中应当安装导流器 (Y) 。
- 拆下螺栓 (4) 。
- 将工具 (A) 放到喷油器飞轮侧卡箍 (5) 的下方。

- 应当将工具 (A) 放到此位置，以便轻轻地拆下喷油器。 利用工具 (A) 拆下喷油器。
- 不要撬动位置 (Z) 。
- 将 O 形密封圈 (6) 从喷油器上拆下。
- 对其余喷油器重复步骤 3 到步骤 9。
清理积碳的步骤

重新安装喷油器时，套管四周区域和套管孔径内的清洁非常重要。 此喷油器在喷油器壳体底部和缸盖内的座放面之间采用金属密封 (7) 。 清理缸盖内的落座部位上的积碳。 另外，如果需要重新安装喷油器，则清理喷油器端部的积碳。
推荐使用精细级的 Scotch Brite 材料。 Scotch Brite 在工具和车间产品指南中以研磨材料和表面重修垫的形式出现。
如果喷油器套管已从发动机上拆下，则利用铰刀清除斜面上的积碳。
注: 不要利用铰刀切除套管上的金属。 只利用铰刀清除积碳。
如果喷油器套管安装在发动机内，则利用管刷清理套管内部的积碳。
如果选择利用钢丝刷清理喷油器上的倾斜座放面，钢丝刷不得接触喷油器尖端。 否则将造成尖端损坏和发动机严重损坏。
注: 不需要使用电动工具转动材料。 套管中的积碳比经受较高温度的部位更易于除去。
下述步骤就是清理套管孔径的推荐方法。
- 将 38 mm (1.5 in) 见方的 Scotch Brite 材料置于锥形刷的端部。
- 利用丝攻扳手在套管孔径的下表面上转动锥形刷。
- 应清理此表面，直到表面平滑和发亮。 应清理整个套管孔径，以除去所有松散的积碳粒。
注: 可以利用真空枪套件清除套管孔径内松散的材料。
气缸内燃油和机油的排空
安装喷油器之前尽量排空气缸中的燃油和机油。 利用工具 (C) 排空燃油。 可能需要多排几次。
