Installation Procedure

1. Position drive gear (10) on the unit injector hydraulic pump. Install bolt (8) and washer (9) on the unit injector hydraulic pump. Tighten bolt (8) to a torque of 110 ± 14 N·m (81 ± 10 lb ft).

2. Install O-ring seal (7) on the unit injector hydraulic pump.

3. Position the unit injector hydraulic pump on the timing gear housing. Install three bolts (6) and tighten three bolts (6) to a torque of 28 ± 7 N·m (20 ± 5 lb ft).

4. Install return line (5) and fitting (2) .

5. Install high pressure oil supply line (1) .

6. Install fuel line (4) .

7. Connect electrical plug (3) .
