Lower Windshield Latches May Be Assembled With An Incorrect Spacer On Certain Excavators

Problem:

If the incorrect spacer is assembled in the lower windshield latch, the lower windshield may not remain in the desired position. The correct spacer will position the latch the proper distance from the windshield and secure the lower windshield in the desired position.

Solution:

The spacer in the 132-6861 Left Hand Latch Assembly and the 132-6862 Right Hand Latch Assembly is not serviced. The correct spacer is 6.0 mm (0.24 inch) thick. The location of the spacer in the latch assembly is shown in Illustration 1.
