5130 (7TJ, 5ZL),
5230 (7LL) Excavators
Description of Change: Two new washers are used on the air to oil cooler group on 5130 and 5230 Excavators. The new washers will improve the service life by providing a hardened bearing area.
Adaptable To: Six new 7X-0772 Washers (1) are direct replacements for six former 8T-4121 Washers in 124-2937 Cooler Group-Oil To Air. In addition, two new 5P-4116 Washers (2) are direct replacements for two former 8T-4224 Washers. The new washers are effective with 5130 (5ZL111) Excavator and 5230 (7LL67) Excavator. The new washers are adaptable to all earlier cooler groups on 5130 (7TJ07, 5ZL21-103, 105-110) Excavators and 5230 (7LL21-53, 55-66) Excavators. The illustration below shows the location of the washers to be replaced.
