Description of Change: The base in the circuit breaker panel is now produced from a new material. The new material has a higher melting point than the former material. The higher melting point delays damage to the base during a circuit overheating condition.
Adaptable To: The new material is identified by a supplier date code that is stamped on the component. The new material is effective with a 10/95 date code stamped on the 7Y-5491 Base. A base that has a date code stamp that is more recent than 10/95 was produced with the new material.
The new 136-4072 Base replaces the former 7Y-5491 Base. The new base is effective with the PIN's listed in the chart and is adaptable to first production of those models. It is also adaptable to the models listed above.
