New Larger Steel Retainers Used In Return Line Manifold Increase Service Life {5057}

Usage:

5230 (7LL) Excavators

Description of Change: New larger steel retainers are used on the 5230 Front Shovel/Mass Excavator return line manifold to increase service life. The new larger steel retainers replace the former rubber mounts. Each new steel retainers is secured with a bolt and washer.

Adaptable To: The new 8X-8073 Retainers (1) are a direct replacement for the former rubber 4V-0661 Mounts. Each new 8X-8073 Retainer (1) is secured by a 5P-1076 Washer (2) and 8T-4194 Bolt (3). The new 8X-8073 Retainers (1), 5P-1076 Washers (2) and 8T-4194 Bolts (3) are effective with 5230 (7LL63) Excavator and are adaptable to all earlier machines.

Location of rubber mounts to be replaced by 8X-8073 Retainers (1), 5P-1076 Washers (2) and 8T-4194 Bolts (3).
