Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Raise hood (1) by activating switch (2). Turn battery disconnect switch (3) to the OFF position.

  2. Remove clips (4), bolt (6), and hose (5).

  3. Remove bolts (8). Remove four bolts (9) (two not shown). Remove upper shroud (7).

  4. Remove temperature sensor (10). Cut cable straps (11).

  5. Remove the other end of temperature sensor (10).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install temperature sensors (10) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of temperature sensors (10).

    2. Tighten temperature sensors (10) to a torque of 45 ± 5 N·m (33 ± 4 lb ft).
