Engine Starting

Usage:

BG-260D BPW

------ WARNING! ------

To prevent personal injury, be sure all personnel are clear of the machine. Sound the horn for several seconds before starting the engine.

  1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.

  1. Use operator station selector switch (1) to select the operator station that will be used.

  1. Apply parking brake (4) .

  1. Turn main power switch (2) clockwise to the ON position in order to supply power to the engine and the machine.

  1. Briefly sound the horn before you start the engine.

  1. Push up the engine start switch (3) in order to start the engine. If the engine does not start after 30 seconds, release the switch. Allow the starter to cool for 2 minutes before cranking again.

Push down the engine start switch (3) and hold down the switch in order to stop the engine.

Note: Main power switch (2) that is located on the main center console must be in the ON position in order to start the engine.
