A comprehensive listing of acknowledged service stations by ABB Turbo Systems Ltd., Baden is available in the following chart. Each entry is approved by ABB Turbo Systems to service their ABB turbochargers that are used in all of the above Caterpillar Engines. The list contains information about service stations around the world that have the capability to perform the following services on Caterpillar Engines: bearing replacement, wheel and shaft balance, and wheel repair.

The major components within the turbocharger, such as compressor wheel and turbine wheel, have a definite lifespan depending on the application and type of service. It is very important to maintain a history of the service to the turbocharger in order to minimize unscheduled repairs.

When a Caterpillar Dealer contacts an ABB turbocharger service center the following information should be readily available:

* engine service hours,
* turbocharger service hours, and
* specific engine application.

With this information, the ABB service center is able to accurately track the life of major turbocharger components.
