Description of Change: The new oil sampling valve group is available as an attachment for 3500 and 3500B Industrial, Marine and Generator Set Engines. The installation of this attachment group will simplify getting an oil sample from these engines.
Identification of 147-3738 Oil Sampling Valve Group components. 7X-3387 Fluid Sampling Valve (1). 8C-3445 Dust Cap (2). Engine Oil Cooler (X).
Adaptable To: The 147-3738 Oil Sampling Valve Group is not available for part service as a group. Order one 7X-3387 Fluid Sampling Valve (1) and one 8C-3445 Dust Cap. The new components can be installed in an existing boss on the oil outlet elbow on the oil cooler.
