Formerly, the spill shield (see the illustration) was pressed onto the barrel of the mechanical unit fuel injector group and would not move. As a result of a manufacturing change, the spill shield may now move or be loose. This is acceptable and makes NO difference in the operation of the mechanical unit fuel injector group.
