Description of Change: An improved combustion gasket is available for use in the above engines. The thickness of the gasket has been changed from 4.2 mm (.17 in) to 4.0 mm (.16 in). The improvement provides better control of the combustion chamber crevice volume.
Adaptable To: The improved 143-2878 Combustion Gasket replaces the former 123-0983 Combustion Gasket in the above engines back to first production. The former 123-0983 Combustion Gasket has been discontinued.
